Alex Flores is a Chicago based UI / UX and Graphic Designer, currently working as a web designer for Professional Diversity Network and as a graphic design instructor at Little Village Lawndale High School. After, graduating from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a Bachelor's in design, Alex received an internship at Nooka, a fashion design company in New York City. In there, he was part of collaborative projects with major companies such as Fila, MOMA, and Cartoon Network's Adventure Time. Slightly after, Alex worked for BucketFeet, a shoe company in Chicago that connects artists and footwear. And currently, Alex is in the Master of Arts in Teaching program at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago doing a thesis project on design thinking at inner city high schools in Chicago.
